Technology Leader · Prague, CZ

Where business
strategy meets technical
reality.

Strategický partner pro firmy, kde je potřeba propojit obchodní rozhodnutí s technickou realizací — a zabránit drahé chybě dřív, než se stane.

A strategic partner for companies that need to connect business decisions with technical execution — and prevent costly mistakes before they happen.

What I am not
  • An operational technical manager focused on day-to-day delivery
  • A development team lead managing sprint backlogs
  • A consultant who arrives to validate decisions already made
  • An evangelist of any specific technology, platform, or framework
Best suited where the cost of the wrong decision exceeds the cost of deliberation. Not suitable where smooth execution of a pre-defined plan is all that's needed.

Both sides of the table

I'm a technology leader with an unusual combination of hands-on technical expertise and strategic business thinking. Since 2012 I've been leading projects and transformations — actively connecting business development with technical execution, not treating them as separate disciplines.

My core value isn't technology itself, but the ability to uncover the true nature of a decision: what is reversible, what is irreversible, and what is merely noise masquerading as strategy. Technology, architecture, and AI are tools for testing reality — not ends in themselves.

I lead a Prague-based technology consultancy of 25–49 people, working across banking, telecom, manufacturing, and healthcare. I remain directly involved in architecture and client-facing work — I am both the CEO at the whiteboard and the architect in the room.

RRL Framework — Decision Architecture

A personal decision-making model distilled from observing how different types of decisions behave in practice — not from theory, but from pattern recognition across real situations.

River
Reversible — you can go back, change course, iterate freely
Rubicon
Irreversible — once crossed, the path back is permanently closed
Light
Warning signal — an early indicator of future problems ahead
  • Systematic adoption of new information
Learns by experimenting with concrete technologies in real projects — not theoretical study. Seeks fundamental principles first, then practical implementations.
  • Cross-domain pattern recognition
Applies technical concepts to business situations and vice versa. Even personal interests — like precise thermal control in sous vide cooking — inform how parameters, measurement, and calibration work in systems.
  • Analytical rigour
Asks "why" before "how". Identifies variables, tests hypotheses, verifies conclusions. Recognises immediately when a vendor is selling versus actually solving a problem.
  • Simplicity over complexity
Seeks the simplest solution that works. Moves fluidly between hardware detail and corporate strategy while maintaining context at every level of abstraction.
  • Proactive risk identification
Looks for risks early — in contracts, technical designs, and business proposals. Knows when a problem is fundamentally technical versus organisational or process-driven.

ATS ↔ CRM Bidirectional Integration

Connected a recruitment tracking system with a CRM platform for real-time mutual data exchange. Added automated pipeline logic — related opportunities close automatically when a candidate journey concludes, eliminating manual cleanup and data drift.

Secure Document Generator

Built a form-to-template-to-document pipeline with a controlled security process for file retrieval. Reduced document generation from hours to seconds while ensuring access controls and a full audit trail throughout the workflow.

Local LLM Infrastructure

Deployed and optimised an on-premise large language model infrastructure for document processing and AI-assisted workflows. Full data sovereignty — no external API dependency, no data leaving the organisation's perimeter.

Multi-Tenant AI Chatbot Platform

Authored a comprehensive feasibility study and technical architecture for a white-label AI chatbot SaaS. Defined multi-tenancy boundaries, security model, pricing tiers, and integration pathways — converting an idea into a buildable, investor-ready specification.

Google Workspace Automation Suite

Developed a suite of Google Apps Script automations covering order dispatching, document creation, and presentation generation. Includes a recruitment warm-up mailing tool with ATS feedback loop — each sent mail automatically annotates the corresponding candidate record.

Heterogeneous systems across business units that need to communicate — without rewriting everything from scratch.

When evaluating vendor proposals or new technologies

Technology Assessment Lead

Objective evaluation of software options, partnership opportunities, and technology due diligence — before commitments are made.

When prototyping or validating a new direction

Innovation Consultant

Grounding AI, IoT, and emerging technology in practical, measurable implementations — separating trend from actual value.

When a smaller company needs senior technology guidance

Fractional CTO

Senior technology leadership without a full-time hire — available for the decisions and moments that matter most.

When the board needs technical clarity, not jargon
